Before you start learning any language you should know:
1. Nobody can teach you foreign language, you could be helped and you could be steered in the right direction.
Take an example: you can't go roller skating. And however much people teach you how to go roller skating, and if you don't practice but you only listen to people who they tell you how to do it , you will not abale to go roller skating. You will have only theory but not practice. Even if you listen to the theory for a long time.
2Anyone can speak foreign language. Some people think and say that they have no ability for learning foreign langauges. It's not definitely true.
Take an example: when you were born you couldn't speak at all. And when your mother spoke with you every day you started understanding and speaking BUT not with enterily sentences. You started with one word, one phrase, one sentence and so on. It took time for you for understanding and speaking your language.And now you need time too and it's not a month, a week, a day it is a little bit more than a month.You should know for the beginning you will need time to be used to new language. It must be like a habit like a hobby.
3.You should practice Every Day. Even if you have only 15 minutes a day it's good too, but you need to practice Every day. You just have to make up your mind how much time you are ready for devoting to learn language. And let it be 10-15 minutes a day BUT Every day.
4.Know a foreign language is to speak, to write, to read, to have listening skills.
Now let's find out what we should do for foreign language speaking, writing, reading and having listening skills:
To speak foreign language - you have to speak
To read foreign language - you have to read
To write foreign language - you have to write
To have listening skills - you have to listen to foreign language
5. You need basic grammar of learning foreign language.
In my opinion you need basic grammar as you have to know how to make affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences, the basic tences. You ask me why. Well, if you don't know these basic grammar then if you have a break in learning language you will forget almost everything as when you get by heart some phrase, words you didn't undesrtand how to make it BUT while you are learning phrases or words and you know how they are made it will never leave your mind.
